It is a great service coming to Mum’s Aged Care facility, doing the required tests and then delivering back the glasses .
My Mum lives in an Aged Care facility and she needed new glasses. She is unable to leave the facility so services need to go to her. We had a great experience with Healthcare 2 You. An optometrist was able to check her eyes, update her prescription and provide 2 pairs of suitable glasses with robust frames. Her name has been engraved on both pairs – something that had not been offered before. The billing process was smooth and we did not have to pay until Mum received her glasses and any suitable adjustments were made. I was kept fully informed about the process and we are very happy with the outcome. Thank you!

I liked the explanations that she was given about the condition of her eyes and the realistic expectations she could have from any new glasses. The optometrist was very thorough in his treatment of my mother and made her feel very comfortable, thank you.
The lady who rang me about Mum’s needs (Mavis Burns) was lovely. She explained how the wrong lenses has been prescribed for mum and that she was also getting her another product to help her read. (The next day when I was there I asked the receptionist which company she was from but unfortunately they are not for the general public.) From what I have heard from the company they are excellent.
You met Ken’s needs with care and patience. A great experience for him and he received the help that he needed with kindness and consideration. Well done, excellent service.

My Aunt seems very pleased with the service.
The girls were very helpful and efficient. They treated mum very well and I am hoping that her eyesight will improve on what it was with the other glasses.
Tony took time to really understand what my aged Mum wanted and when she changed her mind, he returned to her ACF so she could choose a different set of frames. He followed up both visits with a personalised call to me just to ensure the Family was happy with the outcome. I couldn’t have asked for more.

Mum who is 93, went into aged care this year and trying to keep up with all her care needs with COVID was very hard, so when Healthcare 2 You visited it was perfect as she was having a lot of problems with her eyesight. They were very informative about her macular degeneration and hopefully with some new glasses and a reading lamp she will be able to do her crosswords and puzzles again. Thank you.
My 94 year old Mum has recently moved into age care. This was where she was seen by the Healthcare 2 You staff.
Mum was very happy with the service she received when having her eyes assessed; she told me what “nice men” the guys were, praise she usually only uses for hunky paramedics who’ve had to transport her from home to hospital!
The communication from Healthcare 2 You was also excellent with a phone call that afternoon advising the results of the eye assessment, options for glasses and approximate cost. I always like companies who are good communicators; they want your business and know how to look after you.

At the present moment, I would rate Healthcare 2 You as 5 Stars. They are handing the optical needs of my mother, who is currently in aged care. So during covid restrictions being able to take her out of the facility for appointments has been next to impossible.
Healthcare 2 You assessed my mother’s optical needs and recommended new glasses and a magnifier and lamp to assist her vision. I was informed firstly by a personal telephone call and this was followed up with email communications. I have been kept informed every step of the way. Hopefully the glasses and the vision aids will be as good as the communication to date.

I didn’t think there was a way for my mum who is a nursing home due to dementia to get new glasses which she desperately needed. I was told that I would have to take her to an optometrist myself but I am vision impaired and am unable to do this. This team went to the nursing home and tested mum’s eyes and are providing her new glasses. I am very appreciative of their service and kindness. Thank you.

Important to remember your working in a aged care setting that if you overwhelm the resident it can be to much for them.
being unable to attend the appointment with my elderly father was difficult, however when I had some queries, about dad and also my mum who was seen on the same day, the response was prompt, personal and very appropriate for the circumstances. I feel that both my parents were treated well personally and also professionally

Not long after mum moved into aged care, Healthcare2you supplied new spectacles. After a while mum realised they weren’t fitting well. After a few adjustments, mum wasn’t happy with the fit still. Russell and his team at Healthcare2you revisited, consulted and supplied a new set of spectacles that mum is now loving. The service was wonderful and without fuss. Would recommend Healthcare2you!
