It is important to acknowledge that the older we get, the more prone we are to various age-related ocular diseases. A comprehensive, annual eye examination can prevent a multitude of complications in the long run.

Here’s how we help:

‘State of the art’ mobile optometry equipment to deliver thorough eye examinations covered by Medicare.

Screening for cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma amongst other eye diseases.

Assessing visual performance and the appropriateness of current visual aides while liaising with the resident’s GP or Specialist if required.

Facility management is provided with documentation detailing the outcome of the consultation.

Should the optometrist make a recommendation for a prescription change, families and/or POAs are contacted and the findings discussed.

This is an advisory service and there is no obligation to make a purchase. Strict company policies ensure that an order is placed only if family/POA approval is provided.

If you would like for your loved one to participate in our optical service, submit the form and we will ensure that your loved one is included in our annual Eye Care program. We will monitor due dates and ‘keep an eye’ on your loved one’s ocular health and wellbeing.
