In order to reduce the risk of loss, Healthcare 2 You engraves every pair of ordered spectacles as part of the manufacturing process. Own frames are engraved only upon request.
Depending on design and material, the engraving is generally found on the temples or spring hinge joints with the resident’s first AND last name. See images below for an indication of where the engraving is located and how it generally displays.
If you think engraving spectacles is a good strategy, Healthcare 2 You goes well beyond to exceed expectations and keep residents safe and secure. Dispensing teams are fantastic in identifying and locating spectacles accidentally picked up by another resident or misplaced in some other way.
To help support residents and their families, a team member can pay a visit to the facility involved and assist with a spectacle search. With experience on their side, Dispensers are most often victorious in the game of ‘hide and seek’.
Click here to direct you to a page where you can browse our frame range. Here you can view your loved one’s selected frame once you have the frame name and code details required for entering into our system. You can find the frame details on your Healthcare 2 You confirmation email or invoice/receipt. They are located under the Product column as highlighted in red below.
You simply need to enter the codes (eg. UTAH WCO10 C1) into the Search function on the Products page of our website as highlighted in green (see image below).
Upon delivery, the Healthcare 2 You team member will require an attending facility staff member to electronically sign off that the delivery took place. This procedure is time and date stamped so we can see exactly when your loved one received their glasses. Our delivering Dispensers also write careful and concise notes about the delivery experience.
With these processes in place, you can trust that the optical appliance is suitably adjusted and your loved one’s vision is checked upon delivery.
